Can I take the gear out of the greater Austin Texas area?Yes, you can... but... you are responsible for returning all rented equipment on the due date to avoid penalties and late fees. Need flexible time? Contact us to discuss options we have available for you.

Q: How much does it cost to rent camping gear?A: Prices vary depending on the equipment and rental duration. We offer budget-friendly daily and weekend rates, as well as package deals for couples, families, and groups. Check our website for current pricing.

Q: Do you offer multi-day or long-term rentals?A: Yes! Whether you need gear for a weekend trip or an extended outdoor adventure, we have flexible rental options. We automatically offer a 10% Discount on all full week rentals! Planning an extended trip? Contact us for long-term pricing.

Q: Is there a security deposit required?A: Yes, a refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. The amount depends on the equipment rented and will be returned upon gear inspection after your rental period.

Q: Do you offer discounts for large groups or events?A: Yes! We provide special pricing for group camping trips, corporate retreats, and outdoor events. Reach out to us for a custom quote.

Q: How does delivery work?A: If you select delivery, we will bring your gear directly to your reserved campsite at participating campgrounds. We’ll coordinate a drop-off time to ensure you receive everything before your adventure begins.

Q: When and where can I pick up my gear?A: Pickup is available at our Leander, TX location. We’ll confirm your pickup time upon booking.

Q: Do I need to be present for delivery or pickup?A: Yes, we require that someone is available to receive the gear at the scheduled time. For returns, we’ll confirm a pickup window with you.

Q: What happens IF I return the equipment late?A: Unfortunately, this may happen due to unforeseen circumstances. Whereas we would like to be flexible on this, we simply can't because other people may have rented the equipment you are returning for their own adventure. Although there is a 1-hour grace period after the time the equipment is scheduled to be surrendered (12 Noon each day) any delay thereafter will result in an automatic late fee that will be charged to your credit card AND a recurring late fee charged for each and every :30 minutes past the surrender time until the equipment is returned OR the cost of the equipment is recovered; whichever comes first.

Q: How much are the late fees and how does that work?A: Being late is costly, indeed! Although there is a 1-hour grace period past the 12-noon time to surrender your rented equipment (either drop off at our location, or we pick up as scheduled in your original Rental Agreement) or there is an automatic penalty of 50% of the per-day rental cost PLUS an additional 25% of the per-day rental cost for each :30 minutes you are late until the equipment is returned or we recover the cost of the equipment; whichever comes first.

Q: What happens if something gets damaged or lost?A: All of our equipment is quality checked for any damage before being included in your rental. Whereas normal wear and tear is expected, significant damage or lost items may result in a partial loss or full loss of the security deposit we collect and hold while you have our equipment. Please handle the gear with care and immediately notify us of any damage. Once the equipment is returned to us, we perform our equipment return processing procedures and will notify you of any damage we discover and inform you of any loss to your security deposit.

Q: Do I need to clean the gear before returning it?A: Whereas we perform our return processing procedures (including cleaning and sanitization) when you return our equipment, we do ask that you remove any dirt, debris, or food residue before returning items. We get it... we rent outdoor equipment to be used outdoors! Just know that cleaning fees may be deducted from your security deposit to cover our cost of restoration of our equipment if the gear you rent and return is excessively dirty, smelly, etc.

Q: Can I cancel or modify my reservation?A: Yes! We understand that plans change. Review cancellation questions and related answers in our group of Frequently Asked Questions on the subject. As far as modifying your existing reservation... go back to the initial email you received to confirm your reservation with us. You will see instructions on how to modify your existing rental. Q: What if I need to cancel my rental reservation?A: We get it... plans change. Cancellations up to 48 hours before picking up your rented equipment receive a FULL refund. Cancellations inside of 48 hours of the scheduled time to pick up your rented equipment are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Unfortunately, no exceptions will be made based on weather or any other unforeseen circumstance that may cause you to cancel your equipment rental.

Q: How do I cancel my equipment rental?A: Be aware that cancelling your equipment rental may limit your ability to get a refund; depending how close to the pick up date and time you are cancelling. See the related F.A.Q. around cancellation refunds. To cancel your equipment rental, go back to the original email that you received when you reserved our equipment.
